311 Kids Photo Journal
Thursday, December 29th, 2011..December 2011.. ..New York..
If you have a moment please take a look at an important project being photographed in the region devastated by last year’s tsunami in Japan.
3/11 Kids Photo Journal is a photography project by children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami aimed at a worldwide audience. Children from Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures, with the support of professional photographers, will take photographs and write for this journal.

The director of the project is Yumi Goto.
I’ve been following this project for a couple of months. I have great admiration for the spirit of this project. For many reasons projects like these are tough to maintain. The focus of the project is important and must not be forgotten. Please take a look if you have a moment.
