Esmee is a transgender girl living in the Netherlands. She began transitioning 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 9. One of her hobbies is horse back riding. She is photographed with her favorite horse Shamo.

We went to the rest of our family and told everyone about our daughter, which everybody accepted immediately. Even the neighborhood embraced Esmee instantly.
