A documentary shot by Community Media about my portrait project From Above. The project concentrates on the lives of Hibakusha (atomic bomb Survivors) and Tokyo fire bombing Survivors. It was shown at Gallery EF in Tokyo during March 2009 and at the Nagasaki Peace Museum during July 2010.

Inside the Hollandsche Schouwburg, a former theater that was used during the Nazi occupation of The Netherlands as a center where the Jewish population was forced to report to before being deported to transit camps in Westerbork and Vught. They, then were brought to extermination camps in the east.
After the liberation, eventually the theater’s roof was torn down and it was turned into a monument and war memorial.

Jong-keun Lee

Mr. Jong-keun Lee, an atomic bomb survivor, speaking to a New York City junior high school student about his experiences in Hiroshima.
Mr. Lee is an ethnic Korean who was born in Hiroshima during 1928; five years after his family came to Japan. He still lives in Hiroshima.
